In Blender 2.91 today we look at a basic wet mud material, fully made in Blender nodes.
If you want to have a go at creating this you should be able to click on the image below for a bigger view.
I guess you could also use it for meatballs if you so wish. The last color ramp on the right side adjusts the specular/roughness.
If you adjust the scale on the bottom mapping node you can create all sorts of weird patterns.
Mess about with colors and sliders and see what you can come up with.
